Learn2ride operate all the year around in the magnificent surroundings of Dorset’s Poole Harbour. Protected from the sea by the Sandbanks Peninsular, Learn2ride teach in a warm, shallow sandy bay in wave free water. The protected bay also offers near perfect wind conditions making it ideal for those new to kite surfing. However, for those who have Learnt 2 ride across the Peninsular awaits the fabulous Bournemouth Bay one of the countries top open water kite surfing venues.

Learn2ride’s ethos is to focus on the needs of the individual, encouraging students to develop at their own pace. Some maybe up and riding quicker than others, but everyone will leave Learn2ride with the knowledge and tools to become a competent and safe kite surfer.

Learn2ride offer one, two and three day kite surfing course for beginners through to coaching for advanced riders. With numbers limited to four people per course we aim to create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, in which to Learn2ride. Experience has shown that courses with more than 4 students do not allow the instructor to focus on the individual. BOOK NOW

Many people miss out on the exciting world of kite surfing because of two great misconceptions; first they believe that you need years of experience in water sports, and second, massive upper body strength.

Learn2ride will quickly dispel these myths and you will soon realise that people with no water sport background can Learn2ride just as successfully as those with years of experience. And as far as spending hours in the gym is concerned; there is no need;, upper body strength is not a requirement. You will soon realize that the kite is very light in your hands and like all sports, good technique is the key, not bulging biceps and triceps.
